ROGER J. WOOD

Roger Wood is co-chief executive officer of Tenneco Inc., one of the world’s largest designers, manufacturers and marketers of ride performance and clean air products and systems for automotive and commercial vehicle original equipment markets and the aftermarket.

In 2018, Tenneco announced plans to create two new companies through the acquisition of Federal-Mogul LLC.  Wood was named chairman and CEO of the new Powertrain technology company, expected to be created in 2019, and serves as Tenneco co-CEO during the transition. He is also a member of Tenneco’s Board of Directors.

Previously, Wood was chairman and CEO of Fallbrook Technologies, Inc., an industrial innovation company. Before joining Fallbrook, Wood retired in 2015 from Dana Holding Corporation, having served as president and chief executive officer there since 2011. Under Wood’s leadership, he helped to create a technology-driven profitable growth strategy that delivered greater shareholder value following Dana’s emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Prior to joining Dana, Wood served as executive vice president and group president for the Engine Group at BorgWarner Inc. helping to drive market-leading technology recognition, superior growth acceleration and segment-leading profitability. During his 26-year career at BorgWarner, Wood served in various leadership roles with global operations responsibilities.

Wood holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from State University College in Buffalo, New York, and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University.

He is a member of the board of directors of Brunswick Corporation and Fallbrook Technologies.
